At The Maplewood, dining is more than a meal – it’s an experience.
We invite you to whet your appetite by browsing our menu.
We know that eating well is important for living well. Our culinary-trained chefs provide restaurant quality dining at every meal. You’ll enjoy made to order dishes featuring top quality beef, chicken, and seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade pastries and desserts, and a full service bar with an assortment of beers, wines, and spirits.
In addition to the array of choices on our regular dining menu, we add variety with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner specials.
Multiple Dining Options
You’ll love dining at The Maplewood where you can enjoy a delicious, chef-prepared meal in one of our dining venues:
- Danny’s Grill – featuring a warm and cozy decor with a fun sports bar atmosphere
- Danny’s Coffee Lounge – designed for relaxing while chatting over a cup of complimentary coffee or sharing a full meal
- Happenings Dining Room – our bright, open-concept dining room
- Maple Bay Outdoor Café – where you can experience fresh air and sunshine on our brick patio, or choose the comfortable shade under our large awning. Our permanent outdoor bar makes it quick and easy to enjoy a drink or frozen dessert.
We offer our full menu at all of these locations so you can choose whichever venue you like. All meals are served restaurant-style – you select what you’re in the mood for right off our menu and our friendly wait staff will deliver it to your table.
Prefer some private time or simply want to enjoy a quiet meal with family? The Maplewood offers room service for your comfort and convenience. Order from our full Room Service Menu already in your room anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. by simply dialing 4035, and we’ll be sure to accommodate.
Our dining services team accommodates many different dietary needs. We have a registered dietician and a nutrition advisor to ensure a healthy diet for each resident. Our Dining Director is ServSafe Allergen Certified and both of our chefs are ServSafe Certified for food handling. In addition, our dining staff takes the time to learn residents’ food preferences so they can assist with desirable choices. Our menu always includes gluten-free and vegan options and we can prepare many of our dishes to accommodate food allergies.
Meet Michael Fall
“I go out to the dining room every chance I get and make a point of introducing myself.”
People have strong opinions about food. So even though I spend a lot of my time supervising staff, ordering product or making sure our food is the highest standard, I make a point of introducing myself to residents and family members so they know who to talk to about their dining needs.
We pride ourselves on high quality and personal service. If someone comes to me with special needs like a gluten-free or diabetic diet, I’ll make sure we meet that need. We try hard to get it right and we’re accountable. In fact, when I needed care for my own father, this was the only place I even considered.
